Imabari Towels
Imabari, located in Ehime Prefecture, Shikoku, Japan, has excellent water quality and a long history of making towels. The towels are known to be ultra-soft and absorbent. 12 rigorous specifications were developed and regulated by the Shikoku Towel Trade Union to test the towels that wish to display the Imabari trademark label, including safety, touch, durability, and environmental considerations. When dropped into water, a brand new Imabari towel can be completely submerged within 5 seconds. Only towels with the most superior water- absorbency are eligible to have the trademark label sewn on the edge. Read more...
